CLINTON HILL

In 2005, we opened Choice Market on the border of Clinton Hill & Bed-Stuy to provide a place for the community to gather and enjoy fresh home baked pastries and locally sourced food, at a time when there were few amenities in the area.  

 

We learned our love of food from our grandmother - whose farm we'd visit growing up, in Lot-de-Garonne in the South West of France. It's here also where we learned to bake pastries and breads - recipes to this day we continue to make in-house at Choice, fresh every day.

Our mission as a family-owned business remains the same today as when we opened - we believe everyone should be able to eat well which is why we aim to keep our prices accessible to all of our neighbors.
